BW Proces chain Monitoring Configuration not working

Hello All

We have configured all the necessary steps and under Technical monitoring-->BI Monitoring have setup the BW Process chain monitoring.

As per the guides, we have defined the scope and selected our BW system and proceeded with Process Chain Monitoring, under which we gave around 5 Process chains to be monitored and given all the necessary details and activated the Monitoring.

The Monitoring was activated and shown green status, But when we check the alerts in Technical Monitoring work center-->Job & BI Monitoring work center,the monitoring Scenarios is present without any details under it. It just has an entry with the system and Monitoring scenario and when selected for BW Procees chain Monitor, It has neither red,green nor grey alerts for the scenario.

Can anyone help us fix the issue.

This issue is owing to the inconsistency of the custom template. Do you have this issue still?

Hi Bharathi,

Did you try reactivating the scenario?

Was there any process chain step failed or any alert threshold reached for the process chain you configured?

Thanks for your reply.Yes we tried activating it again and with that also we found a strange issue. When we select the scenario and activate the monitoring, it gives the result as green but when we go back again all the details maintained for the process chains will be changed and again the activation status becomes red.

Looks like internally there is an issue with the system.

Pls let us know if u had faced such issues.

Pls find below the screens

Once we activate and finish the configuration and get back to the scenario, all the values mentioned for the process chain is missing and the Data collector values are shown blank.

Due the above error the monitoring is not activated and we are not getting any output at workcenter

I hope you have already performed BI monitoring prerequisites.

Can you check below Snotes, it may help you.
