Hi,
In Information Design Tool with BI 4.1 SP2, I created a Derived Table by pulling date from Oracle.
I want to ask a prompt for users to get DT_INVOICE_DATE interval like below.
I also want to use this prompt value for DT_MEASURE_DATE belows. But I am getting error on DT_MEASURE_DATE.
Is there any wrong with below expressions?
DT_MEASURE_DATE between to_date(DT_INVOICE_DATE,'DD.MM.RRRR') and to_date(DT_INVOICE_DATE,'DD.MM.RRRR') + 2
AND
DT_INVOICE_DATE BETWEEN TO_DATE(@Prompt('start date','A',,mono,free,not_persistent,{'01.01.1900'},),'DD.MM.YYYY') and TO_DATE(@Prompt('finish date','A',,mono,free,not_persistent,{'01.01.1900'},),'DD.MM.YYYY')
Regards,
Hi,
So you want the prompt input of Invoice date to the Measure date, right?
So for that you need to have same prompt text and data type.
DT_MEASURE_DATE between TO_DATE(@Prompt('start date','A',,mono,free,not_persistent,{'01.01.1900'},),'DD.MM.RRRR') and TO_DATE(@Prompt('finish date','A',,mono,free,not_persistent,{'01.01.1900'},),'DD.MM.RRRR')+ 2
AND
DT_INVOICE_DATE BETWEEN TO_DATE(@Prompt('start date','A',,mono,free,not_persistent,{'01.01.1900'},),'DD.MM.YYYY') and TO_DATE(@Prompt('finish date','A',,mono,free,not_persistent,{'01.01.1900'},),'DD.MM.YYYY')
Try this and let me know.
Hope you are using proper format to convert your dates
