Project Team time entry in CATS

Hello Gentlemen,

Could CATS facilitate WBS project team members to select  the assigned WBS's  from the work list (CAT2) and enter time sheet.

Hi Nag,

What you mean by Assignment WBS element ?

You can use CATS to post the work against the WBS element. It can be limited to some users or multiple users

Hi Terence,

Assigned WBS refers to persons linked to multiple WBS.

Let's say only one person linked to WBS-1 in project team and the same person linked to WBS -2 as well. So one person was assigned to 2 WBS's. when that person open cat2 for time entry, does system displays 2 WBS's on the work list which facilitate him to select required one from 2.

You have a setting in the Data Entry Profile, a flag below the worklist flag called From resource plng.

Please read F1 information for it.

Hi Chandra,

Do you understand the difference between Workforce planning and the WBS Project team?

Also note that worklist assignments have From/To dates and that is also on purpose.

You can develop an enhancement populating Worklist with your WBS team data, but that is not what standard SAP is offering.
