SUS-MM integration with cFolders

Former Member

Hello!

I'm using the SUS-MM scenario and I'd like to give the suppliers the opportunity to see and redline documents of the latest version delivered by cFolders. Does any standard integration between SUS and cFolders exist? What other possibilities are there?

Thanks for your help,

Barbara

Hi Barbara,

cFolders is an own component part of the cProjects suite.

There is no integration into SUS available as I know of. The umbrella is

the SAP Portal. By Standard the cFolder Integration is part of Strategic Sourcing,

where you can intergrate collaboration into the Sourcing Process, which is

described in the strategic sourcing help / guide.

Thanks,

Thanks for your answers!

But I just read a document which is called "SAP Solution in Detail mySAP Business Suite: Enbling Supplier Collabortion with mySAPtm Business Suite".

On page 10 there is a description of Plan Driven Procurement and there they say:

As of 2005, you can use cFolders with the order management system. This allows suppliers to link to cFolders from, for example, the PO, and they can access related docruments and files like drawings or thechnical specifications. Suppliers can also upload additional documents related to the purchase to cFolders for you to review.

Kind regards,

Barbara

This is exactly what I want - but how to configure it? Any idea?

Hi Barbara,

I am not able to find that document you are referring to. Sounds interesting.

Based on my knowledge there is no direct integration between SUS and cFolders.

Nevertheless, in cFolders Engineers are able to directly create a Shopping Cart

from a collaboration folder and therefore link to documents in the SC and follow on

documents. cFolders collaboration can be used as “another type” of attachment

for P.O., contract and bid invitation.

I assume you have to set up and enable cFolders and via the Shopping Cart,

the "collaboration attachment" is transported thru MM to SUS, where Suppliers

can access the document as well.

Have a look at https://websmp208.sap-ag.de/plm-inst and the solution manager

implementation content.

Thanks,

Claudia
