Jobs are cancelled for access rule detailed report

Hello All,

Since last few days i see there is an issue with the Access rule detailed report. When ever a background job is scheduled to get the detailed report, we see the job is run for some time and then it gets cancelled.

When i look at the dumps error logs are read as below:

Error analysis

    An exception has occurred which is explained in more detail below. The

    exception is assigned to class 'CX_SY_RANGE_OUT_OF_BOUNDS' and was not caught

     in procedure

    "SEARCH_ACTPRM_RULES" "(METHOD)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING clause.

    Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated this

    exception, the current program was terminated.

    The reason for the exception is:

    An attempt was made in program "CL_GRAC_RULE_ENGINE===========CP" to access a

     part of a string using

    an explicitly specified length.

    This length (2) was greater than the current length of the string

    (1) however.

    Access is not possible like this.

Can some one look into the issue and help us in resolving it. I see this issue is only with the Access rule detailed report and other reports seem to be working fine.

Hello Eknath,

Thanks for your reply and this note is not applicable to us as we are already on GRC 10.1 SP08 and this note is already taken care as i look into that correction class.

Can you please let me know if there is any other way we can resolve this rule detail report issue?

refer the below SAP KBA and perform the steps

2215420 - Dump 'TSV_UNIQUE_NUMBER_OVERFLOW' comes while generating the SOD rules

Hello Srinivas,

Thanks for the reply.

Our issue is not when generating the rules as we were able to do that successfully but the issue when we have to download the detailed rules we have generated to look for the values generated.
