Client Export/Import SAP_USER User Change Documentation

Hi,

When performing a client Export with Tx SCC8 and profile SAP_USER, are all the user Change Documents included in the export.

We are performing a system refresh of the QAS system from PRD. We want to perform a Client Export with the profile SAP_USER and need to be sure that the change documents are included in the export or will the change documents of the Source Clients exist in the Refreshed systems?

Dear David,

SAP_USER will not profile will not include the change document for the users.

You have to take backup of the tables related to change history in source system and after the refresh activity , you have to import it into the system.

Check the sapnote suggested by Prithviraj.

Thank you for your answers, this is still a problem. We do not need or want all the Change documents in the refreshed client only the Change documents for users.

Profile SAP_RECO will not help.

However I see we can export/import using R3trans as per SAP Note 68896.

if this works successfully I will mark this as answered

Hi David.

You can perform either one of the way, In that best way export the user accounts with profile SAP_USER in QAS before system refresh. after QAS refresh you can import those users accounts
