Combined Stacked Line chart with 2 Y Axis does not work

Hi guys,

I am playing with the latest version of Lumira, and when I try to use a combined stacked line chart with 2 Y axis and I don't get what I expect...

On the X Axis I have the week number (1 to 52)

On one the 2 Y axis, I have the sales for my company that I want stacked by year (in the color spread)

On the other one (so the line chart) I display the margin (so not stacked).

I am expecting to have the sales colored according to the years, while the margin will remain as a line...instead, I have the sales and the margins as stacked data....

Am I off the track ?

Thanks Ludek!

But actually it is more something like the picture attached.

But instead if having 24 months, I would like 12, and the columns stacked with a color differentiator on the year

Am I too demanding ?

Pierre-Yves - what is stacked in this scenario?

See my test below:

Hi Tammy,

thanks for jumping in.

In my scenario on the X axis, you would have the month numbers (1 to 12)

The Close values will be the values for the years in a stacked manner

So based on the the name of the chart Combined Stacked line chart with 2 Y Axis, I thought I could do it

I think I am getting closer, but I am not totally there yet

I have what you want with the orange stack column but the blue is extraneous...maybe others have some suggestions

Hi Tammy

I appreciate a lot your help

You are at the point I was when I decided to post my message.

It looks like the the 2 data series are treated together when trying to "stack" the data, whereas they are supposed to be treated separately...

If anyone has an idea...

I think you may need to transform the years to columns to get this to work - see below:

Is the dual axis needed?

Thanks Tammy for the input!

I will give it a try later today.

But yes I need the 2 axis as I would like to compare my margin evolution in % to my Sales...So I am not on the same ranges of values 😉

The idea is to check that there is a real correlation between the 2 ratios, if there is not, then I need to go deeper 😉
