How to access Fiori Launchpad on mobile

Hello Experts,

We have installed SAP SFin Server in Cloud and configured some transnational apps. Now we are able to access the fiori launchpad in desktops but when I try to login using fiori client install on my mobile the launchpad getting error - some certificate error.

Please suggest, do we need to do any configuration to access the launchpad from mobile app?

Hello Krishna,

Possible reasons:

• The server's SSL certificate is self-signed.
• The CA root used to sign the server certificate is unknown.

Security Information - SAP Fiori Client - SAP Library

To ensure integrity and confidentiality, all communications between the app on-device and target servers should be strongly encrypted. SAP Fiori Client must use the HTTPS protocol for communications over network connections. (self-signed certificate is not working)

You can try to login Fiori Launchpad by entering URL you used in PC side before in you web browser of mobile phone.

Actually this is a test system. So is there any other way to get it done on mobile app.

If not possible, how can I get the CA certificate.

Hi Krishna,

I'm not sure.

As far as I know, to use Fiori Client, you should send the certificate request to a certificate authority to be signed.

Thanks for the link. So the only way is to order the SSL Server certificate from SAP CA. Then only we can use Fiori LaunchPad in mobile app. Am I right. If wrong please correct.

Hi Krishna,

You can simply open the Fiori launchpad in a browser on your mobile device.

Hi Masa,

The requirement is to use the SAP Fiori Client App for testing transnational apps. There is no specific reasons for this. Our lead wants to use SAP Fiori App on his mobile to check the Fiori Apps. He is not interested in checking in browser. So we are checking the possibilities.

Off cause, you can use SAP Fiori Client. You just need to set up a certificate.
