Find the message server name sapmsB07.
Goto SMLG transaction and make it Public and that
Message server IP address to be add your winodws service file.
sapmsB07 3600/tcp
And portal IP to be added in your windows host file.

Hey Dear All:
I have tried everything you guys mentioned, and it works fine on my Win2003-based EP server.
Now, i need to do the same thing on my linux-based EP server.
I already fixed the host and services file, but it is still not working. Do I need to restart the EP service or reboot the linux?
I think i restart my EP on Windows last time, but i still want to know exactly answer.
Do we need to restart service after make those host and services files change?
Looking forward your answer, Thanks!

hi siva
Pls check whether the TEST and PING returns no error for your JCO destinations in your Content Administration Tool !
If it returns same RFC_ERROR_COMMUNICATION, then do as follows.
make entries in the services file in your server Dir. path -> c:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\services
sapmsDE1 3600/tcp # R/3 System message service port
Check your message port number with your R/3 Basis Admin.Default is
36[instance number]
And also in host file
R/3 IP Addr R/3 Server Host Name # SAP R/3 System
for ex:
192.168.40.71 PRODNET # PRODNET System Network IP
Hope it helps.

Hi,
local host with Unicode ERROR internal error ,

hope it helps
