Agent on the fly not picking the virtual hosts

Hi,

I have installed a NW 7.5 ABAP system in the virtual host. In this case Virtual DB instance name and the host name of the system are same. I have installed the DAA without mentioning the host name.When I tried configuring the Agent on the fly for DAA assignment to this virtual hosts, it picks the DB host name but not displaying the other 2 virtual host ( Central instance & PAS) . Can any one please hep me, thanks.

Hi Prashanth,

On which host did you install DAA agent; are Central Instance host and PAS host allocated on the same host where you installed DAA agent.

Hi Jaskirat Singh,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have read the Wiki. I have installed the agent in DB host as the DB logical host name & physical host name are same.

Hi Prashanth,

Are Central Instance host and PAS host allocated on the DB host where you installed DAA agent? 

command to check host list.

/usr/sap/hostctrl/exe/saphostctrl -function GetComputerSystem

If yes, then you can activate Agents on fly for Central INs.and PAS by performing host configuration of DB host from managed system configuration.
