File /usr/sap/trans/bin/TPPARAM could not be opened for eading (No such file or directory)

Hello, Gurus.

I can´t configure stms in development system (domain transport) because when I try show me the follow ad: File /usr/sap/trans/bin/TPPARAM could not be opened for eading (No such file or directory)

I can create files in /tmp, I create file TPPARAM from copy the TP_DOMAIN_EED.PFL , but the error is the same.

Please check whether TPPARAM/ TP_DOMAIN_EED.PFL exists in /usr/sap/trans/bin

& please give full permissions to /tmp directory

Hi Anderson,

Try copying TP_DOMAIN_<SID>.PFL file to bin directory.

Also, check if tmp directory has proper permissions.

Hi Anderson C,

If the TP_DOMAIN_EED.PFL is already there, please re-look the file ownership / permission. Do check /tmp directory as well.

For the system, maintain Transport tool parameter SYSTEM_PF. The value of parameter should be path of default profile.
