OPEN PS SP 04 - PATCH 3 - dumping download of project structure

Hi Community,

I'm almost desperating with the openPs Interface get running...I guess all preconditions are fllfilled?!

Current System configuration Status:

1. OpenPs Version 4, SP 04, Patchlevel 3 installed (all objects included in the Project structure are defined in the menue)

2. MS Project 2010, 32-bit (automatic scheduling activated)

3. SAP GUI 7.40

Issue description:

- Connection between MS Project and SAP is basically working

- ressources can be downloaded (selection Screens is getting opened when button ressources download in the add in is exceuted)

BUT now, when it Comes to the download of the whole Project MS Project raises the following dump (see as an attachemnt in german language)

I really don't have a clue anymore what to do...my assumption is that it must be something in MS Project...as already said i studied already all available notes in the context of the Release on OpenPs 4.0 up to Patchlevel 3..out of my ppit of view I've considered everything?!

Hi @all,

just as a supplementary and in the same time closing information.

After dozens of attempts in terms of fitting combinations between

- openPs Patch

- MS Project

- SAP Gui

the following combination works out.

OpenPs, 4.0, Patch 4

Project 2010

SAP GUI 7.20, Patch 2

However the Interface is running, there is still the goal in place to get the Interface run when

SAP GUI 7.40 is installed.

I'll Keep you informed once i do have more Information.

I am not sure if this helps.

I checked support.sap.com/pam and found OPENPS only supports MS Project up to version 4.0.
