Hello,
I am trying to upgrade from ECC 6.04 to ECC 6.07.
The SUM complains with the following error:

What can I do if it complains with the latests available kernel? 🙂

Hi Benoit,
If you see the error then it is complaining about the R3trans.
Now R3trans is delivered by SAP in 2 ways.
1. As part of the SAPEXE SAR file (Database Independent part of kernel).
2. Seperate R3trans.sar file .
Please check the SMP and download the R3trans file which is delivered after November 2015 or latest available and keep it in download directory. After that repeast the phase.

Hi Benoit,
Can you download and apply the R3trans , Latest Kernel patch level as per DB independent and DB dependent to the EPS/in directory and continue the phase.

Santosh

I have put the latest R3trans, in the download directory (/SAP-DVD/EhP7 in my case) and not in EPS/in.
SUM has untared it and it has worked.
Thanks for your suggestion.
How have you find out it was R3trans version problem?
