Product attributes configuration for delivery and shipment

Hi Everyone,

I saw lots of discussions and blogs about product attributes configurations for sales orders.

But can we configure these product attributes fields(MM02-sales org. 2 & XD02- additional attributes) to get warning/error message at delivery or shipment level ?

Probably I don't understand your business process, but is it not a bit too late to issue messages about product attributes when you have already added the delivery to a shipment?
