Hello everyone,
this might be a quite simple question. I would like to add a custom js file into the fiori launchpad.
Is there a proper way to achive this without modifiying the launchpad?
Thanks for any tipps on how to achive this.
Kind Regards,
Michael
Hi Michael,
Currently there are no modification-free options to enhance the Fiori Launchpad. I see that this is part of the Fiori roadmap though. So short answer is No.
Other option is to copy the launchpad application (/UI2/USHELL) into Z namespace, and you are free to make any changes. If you use a SICF alias for Fiori Launchpad, you can change this alias to point to the new Z application, so that user will not have to use a new URL.

Krishna

You can do it also without modification or copying it to Z object.
There is two options:
1) SAP FLP Shell Plugins - The configuration of a shell plugin app is the same as any SAPUI5 component but there is no tile representation. As opposed to other SAPUI5 apps that are executed when a user clicks on their respective tiles, the shell plugin app is executed when the site loads.
more details here - SAP Fiori Launchpad CPv2
2) SAP FLP Custom Tile - Do your FLP manipulation and hide the tile itself.
Hello Vladimirs
thank you for the information. I've checked the links you provided. The options you mention are for the launchpad in the cloud - please let me know, if there is a possibility to achive this in a on premise abap launchpad. i'll start searching for this topic now.
kind regards,
Michael
