Hi.
Just want to bring to discussion something that for me is not OK or could lead to error when analysing SAP HANA supported OS in PAM.
We all know that currently SAP HANA is only supported in:
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES)
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
But if we take a look at PAM and search for the SAP HANA Plataform Edition:
We can see that for Operating Systems there are (30) different OS.
More in detail:
But this is really the HDB Client´s. If you compare to the SAP HANA DVD:
So, did anybody else noticed this? Or this is clear for everyone, and Im just confuse when using PAM...
Thanks for your comments.
Regards.

Hallo,
you have to read the fine print:
OS / platform support covers SAP HANA client component / application server only
The stated operating system / platform support covers the SAP HANA client component only, usually installed next with the SAP application server. You must use SLES 11 or RHEL 6 (starting with Revision 80 of HANA database) on x86_64 to install and use SAP HANA database / server components.
Regards
Thomas.

Hello Osvaldo,
PAM is always right as far as I see.
If it is not, we are really in trouble as technical people.
You shoud check all details links and Additional information.
The details are hidden there.
For example, you can also see this for SQL Server 2012, 2014 installations.
You see 2012 or 2014 version on the supported lists of DB for your product but when you go to the details you realize that it is available only after certain SP levels.
