please suggest if i need to import or export to modify server name in UDT/IDT

i need to update new message server name  in UDT/IDT.

when i go to tools-> connections and try to change server name  UDT tool is closing

when i go to parameters-edit connections and try to change server name  UDT tool is closing

please suggest if i need to import or export to modify server name in UDT/IDT

Hi,

1. Go to below path on your client machine:

C:\Users\<user id>\AppData\Roaming\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\lsi

  It must have a file as <servername_portnumber>.lsi file.

2. Rename this file to <servername_portnumber>.lsi.old.

3. Again log in and check if it works.

Hi,

I think it is memory issue. Can you restart the BO server and try again?
