Cancelling Part-1 without cancelling MIGO

Hi,

User has posted MIGO alongwith capturing excise invoice details. Later on for some reason it s required to cancel the part-1 posting. However MIGO is not to be reversed as material under question is already consumed and all vendor liabilities are settled.

Please advice.

Hi Husein,

Per me, you cannot do that, since all entries in part 1 are related to Goods movement type.

So unless you post any good movement (which is specified in CIN configuration) you cannot make any changes to part 1 register.

What about Part2? You can not reverse the Part1 with out reversing / cancelling the Material document.

You should reverse the consumption goods movement and Cancel the Goods receipt document and repost it with out excise. Part2 can be adjusted using J1IH. But, Part1 can not be adjusted.

Dear All,

You are correct that Part-1 is linked with material document and it cannot be reversed unless we reverse the MIGO.

But reversing MIGO, wherein goods are already consumed is a tedious task. As after reversal, the entire process of MIGO, Reservation, GI has to be done.

Any enhancement which can help resolve this issue?

Fortunately there is no workaround solution to get rid of this issue. The only way is to cancel the goods movement.
