idoc material ID

in my sales order, material ID: 3506721, but in my incoming sales order IDOC, i have idoc material ID: 6280.

where can i find SAP material ID and idoc material ID mapping?

Hi Jolin,

In SAP PI go to moni identify the message with idoc number or filter the message with BS / interface name and check the inbound payload --> refer the material ID

Also check the outbound payload --> Material id which is posting to SAP. if it is different there must be some issue in mapping or you have defined some mapping conditions to generate material ID in IDOC.

verify the mapping rules in message mapping in ESR for Material ID and test it.

you have to find the mapping in operational mapping.

Can you provide more details of your scenario, what is sender and receiver ? more details about your issue?
