SAP R/3 4.7 Integration with Advanced Adapter engine (Process Orchestration)

Hello,

Is there any limitations of integrating SAP R/3 4.7 version with SAP PO (Single stack of course). We know we can not use ABAP proxy.

Will there be any limitations in using Idoc_AAE and RFC?

Thanks and Regards,

Himadri

Hi Himadri

Wow, 4.7 is really old!

AFAIK, there shouldn't be any limitation using IDoc_AAE or RFC. For sender IDoc_AAE, it requires an RFC of type T which I think should be available in 4.7 version.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, you should be able to use ABAP proxy too. If I remember correctly, 4.7 is based on WebAS 620 which already has a local integration engine for proxy. The only difference is the path for entry URL for the proxy is different

Hello Himadri,

There wont be a limitation because of ECC version.

You can use IDOC_AAE and RFC very well with ECC 4.7 versions.
