Hi Dude's
There is a business requirement, delivery line item split should happen based on Alternative unit of measure parameter which is available in material master additional tab. Please post your comments if you have any idea about the scenario.

May be Lakshmipathi have some inputs on this requirement.
Business reason could be, they wanted to print one TO form per SKU. By splitting the Delivery Line items based on SKU quantity which in turn create TO Line Items similarly.

Logic :
For example, Sales order 2xxxxx created for the line item 20,
material 2xxxx5 with quantity as 50.
Sales order | Line Item | Material | Quantity | UoM |
2xxxxxx | 20 | 2xxxx5 | 50 | ST |
Delivery | Line Item | Material | Quantity | UoM | Ref Doc. | Ref Item no. |
5xxxxx | 10 | 2xxxx5 | 50 | ST | 2xxxxx | 20 |

Sales order | Line Item | Material | Quantity | UoM |
2xxxxxx | 20 | 2xxxx5 | 50 | ST |
Once the delivery is processed,
For the material 2xxxx5, as per handling unit splitage parameter
entry in material master now Delivery no. 5xxxxxx has got created with 3 line
items for the same material 2xxxx5
and the respective delivery line items having updated with corresponding sales
order number 2xxxxx and sales order item number 20 at each delivery item level
as like below
Delivery | Line Item | Material | Quantity | UoM | Ref Doc. (Sales order | Ref Item no. (Sales order |
5xxxxx | 10 | 2xxxx5 | 24 | ST | 2xxxxx | 20 |
5xxxxx | 20 | 2xxxx5 | 24 | ST | 2xxxxx | 20 |

Hello,
now I understand what the customer requires, but why they would need that?
I see no clear business benefit from splitting an order item into multiples in the same outbound delivery. Did the client explain the reason behind?
I can understand splitting an order item into several outbound deliveries, but not in the same delivery.
Are you trying to connect to some external WMS system that cannot work well with partial pallets or with multiple full pallets for the same item?
It is not that what you ask is absolutely impossible with a custom development, but it is still hard to justify that.
