SAP APO on SAP ERP

Hi

I'm working for a client who only want to implement APO GATP, no other functionality.  They want to activate ECC Switch Framework SCM_APO_ON_ERP to bring the APO user and customization menu's into ECC and perform all the work in one system.

The business and the basis team here are under the impression that once the above switch is activated along with BC set /SAPAPO/SAP_ON_ERP then GATP functionality will be available without a separate APO system.  They use an Oracle database therefore I can't see how this would work but does anyone have any knowledge to share in this area?

Hi Michael,

recently I came across this new feature in SAP.

We are also exploring to implement the same (currently we have stand alone SCM installation, we want to bring it on to ERP)
