Error while installing NW7.4 (step3 Install common system files)

Hello All,

I am installing SAP Netweaver 7.4 JAVA and i got the below error

An error occurred while processing option SAP NetWeaver 7.4 Support Release 2 > Oracle > SAP Systems > Application Server Java > Standard System > Standard System( Last error reported by the step: Installation of SAP Host Agent using command /tmp/sapinst_instdir/NW740SR2/ORA/INSTALL/STD/hostagent/saphostexec -upgrade failed with return value 255. Output was: Upgrade service [ERROR] (Success) Get id of user sapadm failed.

are you running SWPM/sapinst as user root?

Are you disable the firewall? and could you share the full log as attachment?

Error was resolved after creating a new user sapadm.
