Hello All,

One of our customers has a non-SAP DMS implemented across their companies.

Can SAP PPM 6.1 be integrated with a 3rd party DMS software?

Regards,

Ashwini

Hi Ashwini, hi Mariano,

I'm afraid cFolders ist not the way you should go if you want to introduce a SAP-powered DMS solution.

Have a look to SAP Mobile Documents SAP Mobile Documents – SAP Help Portal Page

or on this SCN-Space

Hello Ashwini;

As Hans-Peter say's the best integration with SAP PPM are with OpenText ECM (using Storage

You have another integration with cFolders solution.

Hello Mariano,

Thanks for responding and the links.

Our customer probably will not go with sap dms or cfolders content server since they have a third party dms already installed.

Hi Ashwini,

I know there is a solution from Opentext that integrates in SAP PPM quite well & nice (I saw this integration at the customer site).

Have a look to this short presentation SAP Extended ECM for SAP PPM (Portfolio and Project Management) or the product presentation at OpenText Extended ECM for SAP Solutions | OpenText

I'm not aware of other integration scenarios with 3rd party DMS software.

Peter
