HANA Analytical View Based on BW data

Hello,

I would like to create/import some Data from BW. I have some BEx queries ready which gather required data.

Can I consume that query in HANA Modeler OR can I achieve the same result in HANA Modeler directly as I achieved with my BEx query?

NB! The end result should be flexible and reflect changes made to the BW data, so I wouldn't have to import/model the data everytime the data in BW changes.

Hi

You can Import BW Models as HANA view , you will find lots of good docs on that topic.

If you bring DSO into HANA, it will essentially create a Analytic View on top of the DSO active table. So, when you update your DSO data from BW , it would be reflected in HANA model too.

If you build it on Query Snapshot ( as in BEx), you have to schedule the Indexing to make the data current .  And just check if a query has variable/mandatory variable if you can release " Query as InfoProvider"
