Hello,

No, you cannot do that without any ITSM configuration.

There are parts of ITSM that you could leave unconfigured (custom Business Roles, custom transaction types, email actions, etc...), but you would have to configure at the very least the SAP-OSS RFC, and also the PPF action "Send messages automatically to SAP" so that all incidents are sent to SAP.

When SAP replies to you, the incident comes back to the Solution Manager system. So , you definitely need some ITSM configuration.

Hi Mohinder,

Its a hard nut to crack but nothing is impossible

you should start following the below wiki

ITSM Information and Overview - SAP IT Service Management on SAP Solution Manager - SCN Wiki

https://support.sap.com/content/dam/library/SAP%20Support%20Portal/support-programs-services/solutio...

Further you need to run solman_setup tcode in solman and configure only ZMIN or YMIN as copy of SMIN transaction type for incident management(service desk old)

I would highly recommend to attend SAP training or at least EGI on ITSM to get feel of it and make sure you understand the concept better.

thus once you have this setup up and running your requirement can be met.

Remember its altogether an implementation and not a small change which can be done in minute of time

hope this clarifies

Thanks

Hi Mohinder,

Majority of the actions as per screenshot you have shared TICK in the last column or de-activated

thus, kindly activate the required one's so that you can get the desired output and do refer below

Hi Rishav,

I already copied ZMIN,

do you know how can we reset all old setting to default ?

I think I changed lots of setting in SMIN and ZMIN.

Hi Mohinder,

Have you done in both the systems dev and production. If yes then you need to take some other system reference.

Thanks

Hi Rishav,

I am doing in sandbox, I have still not touched our production server.

Hi Mohinder

Then you can revert back the changes to SMIN taking your production system as reference.

if its sandbox then you need not to do that. Just you dont need to move the changes to production for the SMIN. Only record the changes for ZMIN.

Anyhow these profiles may reset during upgrade, and moreover its sandbox system so it should be fine.

Thanks

Hi Rishav,

I got my old settings back after comparing with Production server, but my main issue still there, sending incident automatically to SAP without login into ITSM.
