/RPM/PLAN_INT_PREP in Productive environment

Hello,

/RPM/PLAN_INT_PREP report is used to instantiate customizing settings for Financial Capacity Planning.

If we are already having a Production environment and introduce new settings for Financial Capacity Planning, would running /RPM/PLAN_INT_PREP cause any data issues?

Hello,

Many SAP Customers run this report on their production systems and do so without problems, so I do not think you should be concerned about the report itself.

Are you just planning to create new groups/categories/views (as opposed to deleting existing ones)? If yes, then adding these to the customizing and running the report will not cause any issues with the existing planning data.

If on the other hand you intend to delete some existing planning customizing, I would suggest you discuss this with your SAP Developer, if you want to ensure that no data loss can occur.
