The system in sm21  transaction show:

An error has occurred when configuring the work processes

> Too many WPs configured (configured=53, configurable=30)

Someone knows why happend this?

Dear Anderson,

Number of work processes are defined by rdusp/wp_no_<wptype> parameter. However, work processes distrubution may be changed depending on Operation Modes definition (transaction RZ04).
Does this entry appear after Op.Mode switch? Please enclose dispatcher trace file (dev_disp).

Also refer to Note: 2169084 - Start profile, instance profile or total no. of processes are different.

Is there operation modes configured in your system?

Can you check them in RZ04?

Probably an operation mode with high number of WPs cannot be switched that time?

Check RZ04 timetable also.
