hI,

I am working on TM-EM-EWM integration set up and there are certain events which comes from warehouse ( EWM ) system. I would like to know if there is any std integration available between SAP EWM to EM .

Secondly for scenarios where warehouse is not EWM managed any idea how to trigger the events automatically in EM when certain warehouse process ( not managed in SAP) ARE EXECUTED.

Hi Dipak,

There is no SAP standard integration from SAP EM to SAP EWM or vice versa.

However you can integrate customer RFC functional call to post and receive events from SAP EWM.

1. Use standard BAPI EH_POST and EVM_MSG to receive data from SAP EWM

2. Use rule set (custom RFC functional module) to post data to SAP EWM system.

It would be little tedious job but It can be achievable.  We have already done same path for SAP CRM to SAP EM.

Hi Dipak.

1)There is no standard interface between EWM and EM.  Spro is emtpy in EWM but you can create your own extractors etc.

2) Call the standard EM Bapis via idoc or Web Services etc. You can call EM directly but normally this is done via PI.

Interesting Note

Stefan, Daniel,

Many projects ask for an EWM > EM interface.

Is there anything in the pipeline?

Cheers.

Hi Zenon,

currently there are no plans to deliver standard integration between SAP EWM and SAP EM.

However, indirect integration via EWM -> ERP -> EM (e.g. GI) or EWM -> TM -> EM (e.g. Departure) should already be possible (depending on your TM release).

Best regards, Daniel

Thanks Daniel...

I thought, we don't have from EWM to ERP.

Is it possible to expect in future releases or no plan for another 2 years?
