Hello Experts,

We are installing SAP SRM 7.0 EHP4 without SUS

To access Shopping Card, MDM Catalog, RFx with Vendor Bidding, Live Auctions and Centralized Contract.

I have few questions.

1) Do SAP SRM need Portal as a mandatory tool to access all the transaction or do we have other options as well.

2) If we are not going with Portal how do we give access to supplier for bidding as SUS is not in the landscape.

Due to budget constraint client is not willing to go with Portal.

Hello,

1. No, use the built-in NWBC for HTML, this has all the functionalities you need

2. Give direct access to the SRM system for Suppliers (which is definitely not going to be liked by the security team!). Bidding is a separate part that can be accessed by suppliers without configuring SUS.

Still the best option is to have a separate server where the suppliers are able to login and use the bid submission outside firewall business function.

Thanks for your response, but I am not getting how do we share NWBC link with supplier as we dont have SUS in the landscape.

How can we share NWBC link to the internet, any document or details would be appreciated.
