strdbsj2ee.cmd Can not be started - NW JAVA AS 7.5 Installation with SQL SERVER 2014

Dear Experts,

My installation  stopped on Starting AS JAVA Phase due to strdbsj2ee.cmd Can not be started issue.

As of now I have checked all logs in Work Directory and have also checked SAP notes - 2020535 - Profile parameter conn_opts and 2137130 - SAP startup hangs with SQL Server but my issue is still remaining.

I am installing with standard option ( Db and application on same host) . MY DB is SQL SERVER 2014 and OS is Windows 2012 Server R2.

NW version is 7.5 with Latest Kernel - SAP Unicode Kernel 745:WINDOWS_X86_64.

Let me know if you want me to attach any log file.

Please help .

Regards,

Alok

Hi Alok,

Did you try start/stop the database with the poqadm user in the Management Studio? Could be a problem with the user permissions. Just chek if you can do it.

kind regards

Francisco.

Hi Alok.

Just do the full system restart and then try again in the same installation phase. if it is same issue update the latest sapinst log.

Hi Sriram,

   I have attached sapinst_dev file .

Also I see below entries in sapinst_dev

SAPInst calls the LogInquirer because of an error in execution of step |NW_Java_OneHost|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW_Onehost_System|ind|ind|ind|ind|onehost|0|NW_CI_Instance|ind|ind|ind|ind|ci|0|NW_CI_Instance_StartJava|ind|ind|ind|ind|23|0|startJava.

And when I check logInquirer I see these entries :-

Hi Alok.

1.  Could you share the full log as attachment?

2. On your windows OS have you disable the UAC & any antivirus software installed?

3. Kindly refer the SAP installation guide for NW 7.5 Java from the SAP link.

Hi Prithvi,

I have already checked this note. It does not work for me. It seems this note is useful for HA installation . I am doing Standard Installation.
