Reset Drop Down Menu Personas 3.0

Dear All,

By Default when you create a drop down menu, on the screen nothing is selected.

Now once we select a value, we can no longer go back to original state.

My query is:

if I do .key = ""; in the script, I should get blank value in dropdown. But that is not happening

Please guide.

Hello Saurabha,

this is an interesting and valid use case that Personas currently does not support. I can't even come up with a work around for you.

I will take this up for discussion internally to be considered as a future feature (disclaimer: no promises and no commitment ;-).

Cheers,

Clemens

Hi Clemens,

is this still the case today? I am facing the same issue.

(Personas 3.0, SP2, Basis SP level 324)

Thanks,

Gabriela

Hi,

there is a fix but it's not available to customers yet.

Check out note 2300241 which requires a kernel upgrade (that has not been released) and there were some changes to the Personas scripting engine which are planned to be released with SP03 of Personas 3.0.

Best Regards,

Clemens

Good news.

Is there any estimate of when either the SP03 or kernel upgrade for this will be available?

Thanks!

Hi,

for the kernel patch you have to keep checking the note which will automatically update when it's included into a patch release.

For Personas 3.0 SP3, I am only permitted to say "soon" .

Cheers,

Clemens

Mine doesn't work in SP03 either.

My workaround is to put " " (quote-space-quote) which isn't ideal.

It worked for me, Pete.

We also upgraded our kernel release to 742 SP 413.

I'd run the Health Check tool with the OSS Note check option to see if there are any relevant OSS notes missing from your system.
