Issue while running Sum tool in PREP_INPUT_CHECK/EXTRACTKRN_PRE phase

Hi Experts,

Our task it to Upgrade Enhancement pack for SRM EHP2 to EHP4.

So we have generated the stack using Maintenance planner and started upgrade using Sum SP15.

In  PREP_INPUT_CHECK/EXTRACTKRN_PRE phase getting issue while providing mount points for the DVDs of the kit "BS2016_SP01_MID" required for the procedure.

We have downloaded the below upgrade media for SRM Ehp 4 and entered the MID.Xml path

getting issue as below...

Can anyone help us to resolve the issue.

Have you checked the logs at the OS level?

First read the SAP note 1300960 - Problems with MID-based DVDs during upgrade to understand what to check.

Same issue persists for me we are heading from EHP3 SRM 7.0 SP09 to EHP4 SRM 7.0 SP01.

we have generated the stack xml and started upgrade using Sum SP15

In extraction phase getting issue while providing mount points for the DVDs of the kit "BS2016_SP01_MID" required for the procedure.

Can you please Provide the solution of which DVD need to be download and path need to be mentioned .

Hi

Please check the screenshot, SUM is asking for the Kernel DVD.
Provide the path for Kernel DVD first and try.
