Hi,

I see in sw download that there are:

SAP GUI FOR WINDOWS S/4 7.40 (INSTALLATIONS AND UPGRADES)

SAP GUI FOR WINDOWS 7.40 CORE (INSTALLATIONS AND UPGRADES)

...but... is there any difference? What kind of difference...

Hi GD,

SAP GUI 7.40 for Windows supports ends by 9th of January 2018. As per the information provided by SAP, i don't see any differences. May be SAP wants to make everything with same naming conventions with S/4.
