Inspection lot short text (QALS-KTEXTLOS)

Hi;

I’m looking for a standard SAP RFC/BAPI that can populate QALS-KTEXTLOS with value from an external system.

The idea is to update field from a MES system, which can then be displayed in layout of QA32/33 allowing user to make a more informed decision (w.r.t. Results and UD).

Any suggestions?

We decided to continue with status management (user status) to fulfill the requirement.

We will use FM "STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN" to set user status.

BAPI_INSPOPER_RECORDRESULTS

Or search FM by using QIRF* in SE37.
