Expecting to find catalog object in _BIC_SYS, but it is missing

In the 'systems' view in the 'SAP HANA Development' perspective a 'view' XYZ in schema SAPERP - which is active since the data preview delivers data - does not appear in schema _SYS_BIC (not under 'column view' nor anywhere else).

I thought the run-time representation of all catalog objects would be available in schema _SYS_BIC.

Why is view XYZ not to be found in schema _SYS_BIC?

Hi,

SQL view itself is a run time object which won't create another run time object in _SYS_BIC schema.

Run time objects will be created under _SYS_BIC for design time objects created under Content for example attribute/analytic/calculation views.

If you can able to expand _SYS_BIC schema - Column views -

then there is a chance that you can see only first 1000 objects (due to default setting).

The quick way is Right click on Column views and choose Filters - give your view name.
