Unpredictable email sending issue in ymkt Campaign

Hi Experts ,


We have created one static template & trying to use the same template for email campaign. One Target group has been created with member of 10 person .Its works some times for some people ,but not for all. Ideally everyone should get same email but this is not happing at all even sometime it’s not working as well.


When automation mail is sent to a mail group then also mail received on few users end not to all. Is there any such setting which we need to check? Currently in some cases we are getting mails in real time and some time with delay and sometime no email.


How can we check what happing in background if there was any blockage/ filtering in Outbound request

Hi

Assuming that all members could receive the e-mail in some cases, firstly, please confirm sending limit in AWS. For example, in sandbox mode, AWS set 200 emails per 24 hrs pediod as sending quota. Also you can confirm sending statics including complaints and rejects in the console.

If it's under the limit, please confirm whether yMKT sent mails to AWS or not. yMKT generates background job for sending email when a campaign is executed every time. So you can debug this job using JDBG on SM37 and set debug-point on CL_CUAN_MKT_EXEC_EXECUTE_MAIL.

Thanks for the info !

We are using ymket 1508 version. As per the aws statistic: total 8 sent , 0 rejected and 0 complaints. i am not able to find CL_CUAN_MKT_EXEC_EXECUTE_MAIL Jobs in sm37

I can see CUAN_MKT_EXEC_EXECUTE jobs has been successfully executed with below log

Hi Aniruddha,

Firstly, you need to verify the e-mail address in AWS SES if you are still in sandbox mode. Please confirm whether these addresses is verified. You can see a status: pending verification.

Email Ids has been verify successfully..Even I am getting test email from the templates library

Hi Aniruddha,

CL_CUAN_MKT_EXEC_EXECUTE_MAIL is class name on tr-cd: SE24. Could you confirm right class name from SPRO customizing in 1508?

  • SPRO - hybris Marketing - Campaigns - Campaign - Define Campaign Categories and Actions
  • Check class name of "SEND_EMAIL" as action ID

After setting break-point on the class, please try to debug the background job. Maybe, you can get more details.

As advice, After setting break-point on the class, I try to debug the background job.

I am getting below issue details .System issue messages “ Package "000000001" started at "26.02.2016 07:57:48" was finished with a fatal error “due to Invalid value 'EMAIL_OUTBOUND-EMAIL' for attribute 'IA_TYPE-COMM_MEDIUM'


Message No. CUAN_INTERACTION000


Kindly let me know what setting need to fix for this

Please check if the interaction customizing is set up correctly according to the installation guide.

In case of further issues, please cosider to create a support ticket.

Hi,

This not easy to nail down in such a discussion as there are many components involved, e.g. including your corporate's spam filters, blacklists etc.

You can start checking in SE16 in table CUAND_CE_IA_RT. Select the entries for your campaign id. (Field INITIATIVE_ID on the selection screen!).

There you can see the interactions that are create during the campaign execution.

If all have an interaction of type EMAIL_OUTBOUND, the corresponding requests have been handed over successfully to your ESP for sending. Then you need to follow up the infrastructure from there to you inboxes ...

You can also check in the customr factsheet which interactions have been created w.r.t. to campaigns for the interaction contacts.

Actually ,We encounter some issue while trying sending simple email via Campaign console (periodic as well as non-periodic ).When automation mail is sent to a mail group then also mail received on few users end not to all.
