How to trigger Idoc from a transaction

Experts,

I am creating one idoc to JDBC scenario in PI .Here, when customer will be created in ECC , it will send idoc to PI and PI will store these customer master details in target DB.

I have just finished doing the ALE settings in ECC.

In past , I have only used we19 for triggering idocs .But some settings had been maintained in ECC so that when in me23n transaction, or some similar transaction when we created PO , it used to directly trigger idoc. How to do this?

How can I link  ALE , with transaction XD01 , so that when I create any customer in ECC , it should directly trigger the idoc using this ALE ?

Hope partner profile and disctribution model are already in place.

The simple ways are user exits and change pointers. Try out this link
