Calibration Of Equipment

Hi Team,

During the usage decision in calibration process if the equipment is rejected or further corrective action is needed how the situation is going to be handled in SAP. Also how the audit functionality will be handled in SAP for calibration from the auditor prespective, if the auditor wants to check if the equipments are calibrated properly.

Hi,

There is standard SAP QM functionality called follow up actions in SAP.

So if the usage decision is reject or out of tolerance limit, notification of certain type can be auto triggered, which can be converted to work order and the corrective measures on the equipment can be taken.

Auditors would normally check for calibration report through QA32 / QGA4 / QGP2 (with random checks).
