Hi,
How Can I know if a sales order is deliverable? in other words, If a delivery of a sales order does not generate errors log (stock errors). I do not want to create the delivery, only simulate it and get the results.
Is it possible?
Thanks in advance,
Ricard.
Hi,
The item category of the material in the sales order determines whether it is deliverable.
Please be specific on what is the business case and the requirement.

Are you talking about PGI or just about the delivery creation? It'd be rather unusual for errors to occur at the delivery creation. For PGI we created a custom program using function WS_DELIVERY_UPDATE with blank COMMIT parameter and consequent ROLLBACK. It's not a great solution but at least at the time (it's few years old) we didn't find anything better.
There is a new Delivery Monitor transaction starting from certain EHP (definitely in 6, maybe earlier), but I'm not sure it gives any clues about potential errors.
