Hi All,
We are running our batch risk analysis every 2 weeks and we found that the job is taking almost 7 to 8 hours to complete.
We have total 7000 Users and nearly 20000 roles in our system.
Is there a SAP standard benchmark to calcualte the risk analysis turn around time based on certain volume of Users and Roles? We can use this benchmark to analyze the time taken based on our voulme of Users and roles
e.g. Standard Turn around time is like 2 hours for 1000 Users and 1000 roles.
Thanks in Advance
Regards,
Padmavathi
Hi Padmavathi,
The time it takes to perform risk analysis is dependent on how many violations are present in your landscape, which is dependent on your role design and your user account design. I personally cannot give you a benchmark, but I can recommend a performance enhancement. You can configure Parallel Processing in GRC within SPRO>GRC>Access Control>Distribute Jobs for Parallel Processing. This configuration allows you to increase the number of processing threads that the server uses during this resource-intensive task. Increasing the number of parallel tasks will decrease the time it takes to process. SAP recommends starting with 3 parallel tasks, and then increase as necessary.

Hi Ken,
Thanks for your reply. We already have Parallel processing enabled in our system and actually we are fine with the duration of batch risk analysis.
We understand that risk analysis duration depends on below criteria:
1. Number of Users
2. Number of Roles
3. Number of Rules
Just wanted to know if there is any benchmark or how Turn around time should be calculated for risk analysis.
