TM and EWM integration

Hi,

Since creation of freight order in TM triggers TU document in EWM. Can the experts throw light in EWM wheather we have reference ID of freight order/freight unit coming from TM.

Hi Dipak,

This depends how EWM & TM are implemented for specific client need. Moreover, SAP provides 2 options for EWM & TM integration .. Direct and Indirect through ECC.  In one case , we did same number for FO in TM, Shipment in ECC and TU in EWM for indirect integration for easy references.

Hi Dipak,

are you referring to the EWM 9.3 integration? There several new reference documents are written into the delivery documents on EWM side. For example freight document, forwarding order, master airway bill and several further ones. Which ones are written on which document and on eitehr header or item depends on the business process. So this data is not on the TU but on the corresponding delivery documents. If you have a EWM 9.3 system then just have a look at the inbound/outbound deliveries.

Hi,

But even on delivery document in ewm, which tab holds info info about FO/FU. I am working on direct integration between EWM-TM in 9.3 version
