how to create file name with date without time for pass through scenario in sap pi

Hi Guys,

I want to create a file with time stamp in pass through scenario.But I need only date in file name, No need to print time.Can anyone help me?

ex: filename-yyyymmdd.txt

Hi Kiran,

Just to add, if you want to keep the file name from the source except the time in a pass through scenario, in my opinion you only have two options:

1. Install and use the module adapter developed by Eng Swee:

2. Make a OS batch file to do this file rename.

If the filename part of your target file can be a constant, the best solution is the solution provided by Manoj in his answer on the the thread pointed by him.
