Date functions for Universe based on BW Cube

I created a universe on BW cube (Relational Connection).

I am having difficulties with the date objects and date functions. can some one help me withe relative dates for universe based on BW.

Looking for some relative dates like

Previous month first day

Previous month last day

rolling 12 months

MTD

YTD

You might try to handle it at BEx query itself if feasible.

Hi,

This is bit tricky to handle  at business layer or DF layer.reason is there is specific function at UNX level which calculate all these values when you are working with BW.Like if you build universe with oracle then you will get add_months function which drive all these calculations at universe level.

one option you can try to build one DSO at BW level to calculate all these values in columns based on the system date.After that use this DSO in the universe keep it is as standalone.create objects in business layer and user these objects in webi query prompt only.
