Cisco Anyconnect can't connect to Sap in Windows 10?

Hello all,

My client is using Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client (Version 4.2.00096) to connect to their systems.

I am not using the computer my company gave to me at work. I am using a Mac Book Pro with Windows 10 using Boot Camp 6.

The thing is, I am successfully connecting to VPN, but when I try to access SAP, the following error appears. By the way, the connection parameters are correct, I have checked it like 10 times and also with my friends.

When I try to have a remote connection to ip 20.60.19.2, it fails also.

The thing is, when I tried with the computer that my company gave to me, I have successfully connected to SAP, and also remote connect to 20.60.19.2 works. The computer uses Windows 7 professional.

Here is what I have tried so far without luck :

  1. Disabled my Norton firewall, didn't work.
  2. Uninstalled my Norton 360 completely, restarted computer, didn't work.
  3. Rolled back to NetWeaver 7.30 patch 13, didn't work.
  4. Installed Java NetWeaver 7.40 patch 6, didn't work.
  5. Uninstalled & reinstalled Cisco, didn't work.
  6. Upgraded to Cisco version 4.2.01035, didn't work.

Can any of you guys assist me please? I will be losing my mind shortly.

Hello all,

Fixed the problem myself. It was because of a program called Connectify. When I uninstalled it, the problem was gone.

Hi Murat,

Please check you able to ping the remote system IP.

Please install cisco systems VPN client version 5.0.07.029 and recheck.

Thanks

Hello Manas,

The VPN client I am using is Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client. I am no expert in VPN programs but since your suggestion is a different VPN client, it will not work, right?

By the way, here are the remote desktop, ping, telnet and tracert results with the work computer (which successfully connects) and my private computer (which fails):

WORK COMPUTER

Remote Desktop Connection to 20.60.19.2 : Success

Ping : %100 loss in packages

Telnet : Success

Tracert : All 30 requests time out

PRIVATE COMPUTER

Remote Desktop Connection to 20.60.19.2 : Fail

Ping : %100 loss in packages

Telnet : Fail

Tracert : All 30 requests time out

Please check Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client support in your windows 10.

Please check the setting when you install

  1. Uncheck the check box beside Block connections to untrusted servers and close.

Hello Manas,

Cisco claims to have Windows 10 support as of 3.1 release and later releases.

I also have unchecked the box you mentioned, but the problem still persists.
