Dear Experts,

Recently we have started conversion activities in  SAP HANA systems.

Can anyone  of you suggest, on how to capture the DB growth. Also we want to capture the Top 100 tables which grew and if possible certain objects too.

Jun

In my experience (2 years of SAP Hana), I usually capture the growth of the database with the size of the data backup.

This is the real very helpful information regarding the size of the database.

With SAP note 1969700 , you can use the script to understand the TOP 10 tables size in memory

In the documents, i didn't see any way to capture size of tables specific to one client in SAP. Is it even possible to get that information? please let me know.

Hello Jun,

no, this is not possible with the SQL Statement collection mentioned.

You can display the sizes of the largest tables separated by clients using SQL: "HANA_Data_Clients_CommandGenerator" (SAP Note 1969700).

You could try the SQL scripts from Note 1969700
