Movement type 658 used for reducing stock from outbound delivery for Blocked stock

We are using movement type 658 for reducing inventory from block stock through outbound delivery to a customer. PGI was successful and Material document got generated. We reversed the PGI using VL09 and it was successful, the stock came back to blocked stock and the movement type is 657. We again tried to do PGI for the same outbound delivery system issued error that there is 0 stock available.

When checked in MB52 the stock is available.

Also we tried deleting the outbound delivery and created a new outbound still system shows 0 stock available.

We have no clue where the problem is?

I tried searching SCN for similar issues and could not find any. Appreciate if anyone can help me in this issue?

are you using it with some special stock indicator? What's the business process? Can't you use 651 for returns, further in which head of MMBE report material is showing after delivery order reversal? Please check the stock status step by step and share your findings accordingly. Thanks.

Hi Raghu,

It is not advisable to send the goods from blocked stock to the customer.

Rather, we can perform the transfer posting (MB1B tcode) to move the stock from Blocked to "Unrestricted stock" and then send the goods to the customer from there.
