SAP SNC integration with ARIBA

Dear Experts,

The knowledge that i have is , SNC will be used for high value and strategic procurement while ARIBA will be used for high volume purchase.

So i have question that what business benefits will it give to the user (buyer) to integrate both and how?

Hi Gupta,

There few integration points whic is supported by SAP for Ariba & SNC.

The possibility to use below scenarios between Ariba Network and SAP SNC with the following:

- Purchase Order (PO)

- Purchase Order Confirmation

- Advanced Shipping Notification (ASN)

Hi Gaurav,

You need to have an S user to reach to relevant area.

SCN does not provide file upload in these areas.

Hi Gaurav,

Ariba Suppy Network (Cloud) can be used for Vendor on boarding. This will reduce the on boarding effort of the company, as Ariba on boarding is taken care by SAP.

Also the vendor you want to onboard might be already available on Ariba (connected to a different company).

But i have a question here, even if we onboard suppliers through ARIBA, we will have to provide them complete training on SAP SNC. so the onboarding process will remain the same.
