How to get acknowledgements for HTTP

hey guys

i was just wondering as to how will i get a acknowledgement from a HTTP receiver,i have a asycn File to HTTP scenario and i jst want an acknowledgement tellin me whether the messages reached successfully or not,i dont want any others info,guess thiss is system acknowledgement,right?

Hi Ahmad -

There's nothing special you have to do here. If the message fails to get delivered to the http receiver, you'll see an error in MONI. Normal success/checkered flag, you know that it was delivered. Whether it processed successfully or not on the target system is a different story.

yeah i jst wnat to know whether the msg waz delivered properly or not,in case the receiver server is down or sth,so i can fully rely on MONI and dont do anything else,right?

Hi,

you can try with transport acks

as shown in my blog:

but I've never tested it with http receiver

but i m not using any BPM in my scenario neither do i have proxies,so i guess i wont be able to get a transport ack for my async File to IDOC.
