Whats the difference between Message user and Service user?

Hello all,

Can any one please tell me whats the difference between Message user and Service User. As per my knowledge XIISUSER is a services user as well as Message user. But I am not sure of the concept. Can any one please help me in understanding this.

Hi -

There are only Service Users. Now the Service Users can be used for two main purposes:

- Internal Communication (Technical Communication): inter-XI component communication (e.g. for configuration, administration, and monitoring)

- Message Exchange (Business Communication): for actual exchange of the documents/messages.
